Event Theme

CVM has a role to play in every single aspect of telco-customer relationship and is at the core of telco revenue generation. With the changes in market dynamics, we have seen telcos adopting new approaches for value maximization through CVM. This forum will address how value management can act as a multiplier for telco marketers to enhance value delivery for customers and subsequently higher value generation for the telcom.

In his current capacity as Chief Marketing Officer, Avneesh is responsible for delivering the Revenue and Share objectives for Vodafone Idea.  Avneesh has led various transformation programs in India and the AMAP region and is part of the Global Leadership Talent pool in Vodafone – Inspire. With over 20 years of work experience Avneesh has worked across different categories and industries namely Advertising, Retail and Telecommunications.  He joined Hutch in 2003 and has worked across various roles and capacities in the Consumer Marketing domain across diverse geographies and markets.An avid fitness and culinary enthusiast, Avneesh loves to travel in his pursuit of the passions of the palate.

Ipshita Bhattacharya

Managing Director and Partner
BCG, Singapore

Ipshita Bhattacharya has over ten years of experience within Boston Consulting Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice. She focuses on Singapore and Southeast Asia but has led engagements in Europe as well. Ipshita has primarily worked with clients on analytics, digital, and telecommunications topics. Ipshita leads BCG's pricing work in Asia Pacific and is a member of the global telecommunications leadership team.

Salvatore Traina

Salvatore’s innate curiosity has fuelled his deep technical knowledge and long-term career success in telecommunications and ITC for the last 25 years. A Master’s graduate in computer science from Pisa - Italy, his experience extends across infrastructure, software/mobile network architectures and protocols, development of products and platforms, and digital transformation projects for the telecoms industry in many countries in the world. With his keen understanding of consumer behaviour and digital engagement, coupled with astute business acumen and international management experience in both developed and emerging markets, Salvatore plays a lead role in driving the development of Beyond ONE’s technology innovations and services.

David is a principal at Kearney where he lead complex and high impact transformation projects. Previously, David held a senior leadership role at dtac, one of the largest mobile operators in Thailand and was responsible for strategy, transformation and business development. He has a master’s degree in business management from Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

Shihab Ahmad

Chief Commercial Officer

Shihab has around 2 decades of experience in corporate strategy, marketing, sales and customer care, devices, digital services and mobile financial services. He has led many initiatives to transform Robi Axiata into a customer centric organization. He was appointed as Robi’s Chief Digital Services Officer in August 2017 before taking over the role as Chief Commercial Officer in 2020. Prior to joining Robi, Shihab was the Chief Strategy Officer of Banglalink Digital Communications Limited. He also served the same organisation as Chief Commercial Officer for some time.

With his skills for strategic and operational excellence, he has been able to successfully lead and transform key businesses into high performance units. In recognition of his well demonstrated leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for pursuing excellence, he was awarded the Chairman’s Award (Aditya Birla Group) for outstanding business performance. At e& (etisalat) he was awarded the North Star and Outstanding Project Contribution Awards for his outstanding work and contribution towards AI and advanced analytics. He has also been conferred upon the 40 under 40 data scientist Award (2022) and the Top 100 most influential AI and Analytics Leaders (2022) by the prestigious Analytics India Magazine (AIM).
