JOB ROLE : Senior Sales Assignment – Africa.
REPORTING TO : Director, Sales – Middle East, Africa and Asia.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : At least 6 years to 9+ years of relevant experience.
LOCATION : Bangalore, Karnataka (negotiable).
OBJECTIVES of ROLE : Lead end to end Prospection, Relationship Handling, Business Development
and Sales activities in assigned region.
Should have demonstrated strong performance as a sole contributor to the
process in previous role(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
Nurture and maintain connections with telcos, ISPs and MVNOs.
Generate leads by cold calling, over emails and using personal/ industry
connects.
Well versed in understanding technology from business perspective.
End to end ownership of leads to business.
SKILLS
Technical/ Engineering background would be preferred.
If MBA, IT/ Telecom Management will be preferred.
Deep understanding of the telecommunications B2B software industry and
Sales Process.
Must have worked with telcos in the African region and should have
existing connections and relations with them.
Strong command over English (spoken and writing).
Exceptional inter-personal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Expert in using MS Office tools (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
Knowledge of French (speaking/ writing) will be an added advantage.
Go-getter attitude and ability to work under pressure.
Bid Management experience for handling of tender and responses.

OBJECTIVES of ROLE : Comprehensive Account Mapping and Lead Generation in Telecom Service
Providers in Asia.
RESPONSIBILITIES /TASKS:
Market Analysis of telecom landscape in the Asian continent.
Monitor competitors’ strategy, growth, market presence etc.
Generate awareness of Pelatro’s excellence in the CVM domain amongst
potential customers.
Generate leads via multiple outreach channels like cold calling, emails,
LinkedIn connects, personal connects etc.
The candidates is expected to slowly mature in handling the end to end Sales
cycle, i.e. from lead generation to contract closure.
SKILLS:
Engineering background is must (even for MBA candidate).
Strong understanding of the technologies like Analytics, AI/ML, Customer
Engagement etc.
Strong command over English (spoken and writing).

OBJECTIVES of ROLE | · Responsible for deploying and supporting the product/CRs at customer environment. · Managing the tickets from customer adhering to SLA |
RESPONSIBILITIES /TASKS | · Installation of product/solution and its dependencies on servers · Following up with customer points of contact for various aspects. · Integration of product with various external entities and readiness of the solution. · End to end system testing before handing over system to customer for user acceptance testing. · Driving the UAT with end customer(s) from support perspective · Launch and post-go live management of the product, including Monitoring and automation of various jobs |
