JOB ROLE : Senior Sales Assignment – Africa.
REPORTING TO : Director, Sales – Middle East, Africa and Asia.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : At least 6 years to 9+ years of relevant experience.
LOCATION : Bangalore, Karnataka (negotiable).
OBJECTIVES of ROLE : Lead end to end Prospection, Relationship Handling, Business Development
and Sales activities in assigned region.
Should have demonstrated strong performance as a sole contributor to the
process in previous role(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
Nurture and maintain connections with telcos, ISPs and MVNOs.
Generate leads by cold calling, over emails and using personal/ industry
connects.
Well versed in understanding technology from business perspective.
End to end ownership of leads to business.
SKILLS
Technical/ Engineering background would be preferred.
If MBA, IT/ Telecom Management will be preferred.
Deep understanding of the telecommunications B2B software industry and
Sales Process.
Must have worked with telcos in the African region and should have
existing connections and relations with them.
Strong command over English (spoken and writing).
Exceptional inter-personal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Expert in using MS Office tools (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
Knowledge of French (speaking/ writing) will be an added advantage.
Go-getter attitude and ability to work under pressure.
Bid Management experience for handling of tender and responses.
